Charlotte's Award-Winning Hair and Makeup Team, Cali Stott Artistry, started ten years ago to help Charlotte brides find the right team of artists to support them on her special day. The goal from the beginning was to help the bride see how beautiful, confident, and happy she is as she walks down the aisle so Cali Stott Artistry was established in 2010 and has continued working with brides and a variety of other clients.

The mastermind and founder behind Cali Stott Artistry is Cali Stott who is a makeup and hair artist. She has been in the beauty industry for eleven years making many special moments with her exceptional makeup skills. Her extensive experience and sheer passion have made her stand out among other Charlotte hair & makeup artists.

Cali Stott's work has involved a wide variety of occasions and categories: portraits, avant-garde shoots, runway shows, commercial projects, pageants, TV & film sets, and weddings. It’s her hard work and immense experience in the field that has allowed her team to work across the country from California to New York.

What I love:  I love taking long romantic walks down the aisle of any Target, Marshalls, Tjmaxx, HomeGoods, Lowes, and Home Depot!

Serious note I love listening to my children having conversations.  Kids are so open to trying new things, carefree and innocent,  we can learn so much from them.

Favorite things: Favorite things hair and makeup-wise are a great pair of lashes, a curved flat iron, lip gloss, Altoids mints, and Beyonce music...I will never leave home without them

Being a mom: Is a superpower! Some days you love it......some days you are like $#$#.... where is the manual for this. But I wouldn't trade it in for the world

Dream Day: Every day that I get to wake up. Tomorrow's never promised so each day I try to make it my best.

How did you get into hair/makeup? 

I always had this desire for the industry as a child. As a got older, it seemed that every career that I thought I wanted somehow I always circled back to the beauty industry.

What I Love:

I love food...all kinds of food!  I love music and I love to sing and have jam sessions with my little family.  I love makeup...If you work with me, please tell me to stop buying more eyeshadow palettes!  My guilty pleasure right now is watching Korean dramas.  Because of that, I'm really inspired by Asian/K-Beauty trends.

My Family:

Married to my hubby for going on 12 years and I have my little girl, mini-me, Keaton, who drains all my energy, but I love her so much.  Can't forget about my geriatric ginger kitty, Foley, who was my first baby!!  I wish I could have more kittens.  I will probably be the crazy old cat lady and that is all right with me.

Favorite Things:

My favorite food:  any Asian foods, but especially Japanese and Korean food.

Favorite makeup brands:  Make Up For Ever, NARS, Becca, Charlotte Tilbury, RCMA, Tower 28 Beauty

Absolute 2 favorite places are my hometown of Hawaii and I'm obsessed with LA.  

Being a mom:  Hands down, the most rewarding job I've ever had.  There are days where I don't get much sleep, I'm super stressed, forget to brush my hair, wash my face, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.  One of my favorite memories is coming home from a long day of work and having my little girl come around the corner and say emphatically, "Mommy!  Are you home?  I missed you so much!"  as she gave the biggest hug.  The. Best. Feeling. EVER.

Dream Day:  Spending the entire day with my family back home in Hawaii, chilling on a beach and eating all of our favorite foods.

What I love: I love sweatpants and Netflix. I love the Carolina’s blue skies and sports teams. I love people that make me laugh and sour candy. 

My Family: I am a mommy to 2 little toddlers that rule my world. I am the 2nd of 4 daughters with the most incredible Mom that is the glue of the family. 

Favorite things: Favorite things would be Tetris, lemon water, Makeup Forever, sea salt spray, and naps.

Being a mom is by far my greasy accomplishment. My biggest hope is that they get to see me doing what I love in my career that it will create a drive within themselves to love what they do in their futures!

Favorite things: Being around great people, great food, and spending time somewhere with beautiful scenery. It’s the little things in life that count! 

What I love: I am a self-taught makeup artist since 2012. It is important to me to stay current on the new trends in the beauty industry, so I can learn new ways to enhance every woman’s natural beauty.

Favorite things: On my days off I love working out at burn boot camp and spending time with friends and family 

Dream Day: My dream vacation day would be in Bora Bora 

How did you get into hair/makeup: I started watching YouTube and became obsessed with the beauty industry. I love learning different techniques and different trends.
